Dawn flight massage at Schiphol Airport, the night before an early gate
A dawn flight massage at Schiphol Airport is booked by the traveller who has done the sensible thing and taken a room near the terminal for the night before an early departure. The evening stretches ahead with nothing in it except an alarm set for four. A session in that evening can make the short night a much better one, provided it is placed with care. This page is about the timing.
The night before the gate
Very early departures produce restless nights. Half the mind stays alert for the alarm, the other half runs through the checklist of passport, boarding pass and luggage, and sleep arrives late and leaves early. Travellers who take an airport room to shorten the morning often find the evening is the harder part: too early to sleep, too late to go anywhere, and too aware of the clock to relax. A well-timed massage breaks that pattern.
Dawn flight massage at Schiphol Airport: working back from the alarm
Start with the departure and count backwards. Allow for the walk or shuttle to the terminal, security and the airline's cut-off, and you have the alarm. From the alarm, subtract the sleep you want, and you have the time the session should be over by. For a departure at a quarter past six, the alarm is usually around four, and a session that ends by nine or ten the evening before leaves a full six hours. Give the departure time in the first message and the reply will suggest a start that protects that sleep.
Which format for the night before
The formats that need no shower and no setting up are the right ones here. Erotic oil massage for one hour is the usual booking: warm, simple and quick to pack away, leaving the room ready for sleep. Sensual massage works equally well. Nuru and soapy are poor choices on a short night, since the preparation and the shower take time that should belong to sleep.
The overnight, as an alternative
Some travellers turn the logic around and decide not to sleep much at all. The eight hour overnight at EUR 1,250 can be placed so that it closes when you need to leave for the terminal, and a guest who expects to sleep on the aircraft may prefer a long night to a short one. It is confirmed with half the fee in advance, and the start is agreed around your departure time.
Packing and luggage
The night before an early flight is also the night of packing, and it helps to do it before she arrives. A bag closed and by the door, clothes for the morning laid out and the passport where you can find it half awake make the rest of the evening easier. She brings her own towels and oil and takes them with her, so the room is left as it was.
Moving from the city to the airport
Many dawn departures begin with a move: checking out of a hotel in central Amsterdam in the afternoon and taking a room near the airport for the final night. A booking can be arranged at either end. For a room at Schiphol, Schiphol-Rijk or Schiphol-Oost, her journey time is agreed first. The page on the last night before flying home covers that move in more detail.
The deposit and the notice scale
Every airport booking is confirmed with half the fee in advance: EUR 90 for one hour, EUR 135 for ninety minutes, EUR 625 for the overnight. If the booking needs to be cancelled, more than twenty-four hours before the booked time nothing is kept; inside the final twenty-four hours but before she has left, half the deposit is kept; once she is on her way, all of it is. If someone else takes the hour, the deposit is returned in full.
If the flight moves
Airlines occasionally move early departures, sometimes earlier and sometimes to later in the day. If the change affects the evening booking, write to the thread as soon as you know. Before she has set out, the hour can usually move. One free move to another date within fourteen days is available when asked for more than twenty-four hours ahead.
A worked evening
Take a flight at twenty past six. Bag drop closes an hour before, security takes up to half an hour at that time of day, and the walk from an airport hotel is ten minutes: the alarm goes at a quarter past four. Six hours of sleep means lights out by a quarter past ten. An hour of oil massage from eight until nine leaves time for a shower, a last look at the passport and the boarding pass, and a slow half hour before sleep. The whole booking is EUR 180, with EUR 90 confirmed in advance.
When the alarm is shared
Two travellers flying out together can book the evening as a couple, with one therapist between them at EUR 360 an hour or a therapist each at EUR 720 an hour. The timing works the same way, counted back from the alarm, and on the night before an early departure an hour is usually enough for both. Both travellers must be twenty-one or over and present when she arrives.
Her limits
Your therapist decides what a session includes, tells you her limits before it begins and keeps to them throughout. She may decline any booking and may end a visit at any point. Everyone in the room is twenty-one or over, and a photo document may be asked for at the door.
