How long to book when the aircraft landed late or leaves at dawn
Length is the one choice in a booking that the traveller makes nearly alone, and it is easy to get wrong when the body is tired and the clock is wrong. This guide goes through each length on offer, with the figure and the kind of night it suits, so the choice can be made once and not revisited at two in the morning.
The question that arrives at this site more than any other is not which therapist or which format. It is how long. A traveller who landed at a quarter to one and a traveller who must be at the check-in desk by five are both short of hours, and both tend to overestimate what they want. The lengths below are the ones on every profile on the therapists page, and the figures are the same for every hour of the day and night.
The ladder, in euro
For one guest with one therapist, an hour is EUR 180, ninety minutes EUR 270, two hours EUR 360 and three hours EUR 540. The overnight, eight hours, is EUR 1,250. A guest who books two therapists together pays EUR 360 an hour, and the overnight becomes EUR 2,880. A couple sharing one therapist pays EUR 360 an hour; a couple with a therapist each pays EUR 720 an hour. At a room near the airport, half of any of these figures is confirmed in advance and the other half is settled at the door.
Measure by sleep, not by appetite
The useful way to choose is to start from the hours you intend to sleep and work outwards. A session that finishes at half past three after a landing at one leaves four hours before a nine o’clock alarm, which is too little for a first day. The same session finishing at half past two leaves five and a half. Choosing by how the night should end, rather than by how much time sounds generous, gives a sounder answer nine times in ten.
One hour: the landing after midnight
For a traveller who reaches the room after one in the morning, an hour is usually right. It is long enough for the body to loosen and short enough that sleep comes while the room is still quiet. It also leaves a margin if the start has to slide by twenty minutes because the belt was slow. An hour of erotic oil massage is the booking chosen more often than any other at that hour, since nothing about it asks for preparation or a long shower afterwards.
Ninety minutes: when settling takes time
Some people cannot switch from the rhythm of a flight into stillness straight away. For them, the first quarter of an hour of any session is spent coming down from the journey, and ninety minutes means the remaining hour and a quarter is really used. It suits the traveller who landed around eleven, reached the room by half past midnight and has a late start the next day.
Two hours: the body on another clock
Travellers flying west from Asia or the Gulf often reach the room at midnight feeling as though it were mid-afternoon. Sleep will not come for hours regardless, and a longer session fills that wakeful stretch without cost to the night. Two hours suits them, and so does a couple booking one therapist between them, where each guest effectively has an hour of attention.
There is a second reason to choose two hours on those nights. A traveller who books a single hour at midnight and is still wide awake at a quarter past one tends to lie in the dark, restless, checking the phone. Two hours takes the session past that point, to the moment when the body clock finally begins to give way, and sleep then follows the session rather than arriving three hours after it.
Three hours: the long first evening
Three hours is a first-evening booking rather than a late-arrival one. It fits the traveller who landed in the late afternoon, checked into an airport room and wants the evening to be the whole plan, perhaps before moving into the city the next morning. Any session of three hours or more is confirmed with half the fee ahead, which at EUR 540 means EUR 270, though at an airport room that half is asked for in any case.
The overnight: when sleep is not the point
Two kinds of traveller book the eight hour overnight at the airport. The first arrives in the evening, has nothing planned for the next day and wants the night as a single booking. The second flies out at dawn, knows sleep on the last night will be thin whatever happens, and would rather spend it awake in company than lie staring at the ceiling. Eight hours booked this way describe a night with its own pace, rests and conversation included, not a single unbroken session, and the start is agreed so that it closes when you need to leave. Half, EUR 625, goes ahead.
Before a dawn departure
For the night before an early gate, work back from the alarm. A flight at a quarter past six means leaving the room around half past four, an alarm at four, and lights out no later than ten if six hours of sleep is the aim. An hour between eight and nine fits comfortably. Ninety minutes can work if it starts at half past seven. Anything longer pushes into the sleep that the next morning depends on, unless the overnight is chosen deliberately instead.
Two guests, two lengths of patience
A couple rarely feels the same level of tiredness after the same flight. If one of you is ready to sleep and the other is wide awake, a therapist each for an hour at EUR 720 is usually kinder to both than one therapist for two hours. Both guests must be twenty-one or over and present when she arrives, and both must be comfortable with the arrangement before it is confirmed.
Format and length together
Some formats sit more naturally inside a short booking than others. Nuru massage needs a shower before and after and a sheet laid over the bed, so it asks for at least ninety minutes to feel unhurried, and it is a poor fit for an hour squeezed in before a four o’clock alarm. Oil-based and sensual formats set up in minutes and pack away just as quickly, which is why they suit the late arrival and the night before a dawn flight. Four-hand bookings, with two therapists together, tend to be booked for an hour or ninety minutes, because the intensity does the work that length would otherwise do.
Three nights, three answers
Consider three travellers on the same evening. The first lands at a quarter to one from a European city with a meeting at nine; an hour at EUR 180, with EUR 90 ahead, is right. The second lands at eleven from a long-haul flight going west, and knows sleep will not come until four; two hours at EUR 360, with EUR 180 ahead, fills the waking stretch. The third is not landing at all but leaving at twenty to seven the next morning; an hour from eight in the evening, or the overnight if sleep on the last night is a lost cause anyway. Same airport, same roster, three different bookings.
Length and the deposit
At a room near the airport, half the fee goes ahead whatever the length, so the deposit scales with the booking: EUR 90 for an hour, EUR 135 for ninety minutes, EUR 180 for two hours, EUR 270 for three and EUR 625 for the overnight. If the length changes before she sets out, the deposit is adjusted to half the new figure. The notice scale in the cancellation policy applies to whatever half is held at the time.
The first night before the city
A traveller who lands in the early evening and spends one night near the runway before moving into town is in a different position from the midnight arrival. The body is tired but not broken, dinner is possible, and the evening has a shape. Ninety minutes or two hours suit that night well, starting around nine and finishing with enough of the evening left for a slow shower and an early sleep. The following morning, the move into the city can wait until check-out without any rush. The page on the first night before the city sets out why some travellers prefer that pause.
Changing the length
A length can be changed freely while she has not yet set out: write to the thread and the booking is recalculated, with the deposit adjusted accordingly. Whether a session can run on once it has begun is a question to raise in the thread beforehand, not in the room, because her next commitments decide it. A session closed early by the guest remains payable in full for the time that was reserved.
If the landing moves and the length no longer fits
A two hour booking agreed for half past twelve may not make sense if the aircraft now lands at one. Before she sets out, you can shorten it to an hour or move the start. If the delay is long enough that the evening no longer works, the page on delayed landings covers moving the booking to another date and how the notice scale treats it.
What length does not decide
Choosing a length fixes how much time is reserved, and nothing about what happens in it. Your therapist decides what a session includes and tells you her limits before it starts. She may decline a booking and may close a visit at any point, whatever length was booked. Each guest present, whatever the length booked, has to be twenty-one or over.
