Clara

Clara lives in Amsterdam Centrum and does much of her work after the airport shops have pulled their shutters down. Red-eye passengers arrive with a particular stiffness through the shoulders and are slow to settle, and she recognises it within a minute. Hungarian and English are the two languages she brings. Nuru and body to body are the formats she is booked for most, and she says at the start what she offers and what she does not. She is twenty-two, dark-haired and patient with a guest who keeps checking the time.

Clara decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
