Outcall, to the room you reached after landing

For a traveller who has just come off a long flight, the idea of going anywhere else tonight is out of the question. Outcall is built on that. The word says which side of a booking moves: here it is always the therapist, who travels to the room where you are staying, knocks, and leaves again when the session is over. You stay put, with the case in the corner and the passport in the jacket on the chair.

No rooms of the house

The house keeps no studio, no reception, no flat in town and nothing inside or beside the terminal. There is no address to take a taxi to at one in the morning, and that is deliberate. A premises would add a journey out and a journey back to a night that is already long, through a city the traveller has not yet seen in daylight. With outcall, the door you opened at check-in is the only door involved.

Which rooms qualify

A room qualifies when it has a door onto the public side of the world: a hotel room, a serviced apartment or a rented flat, at Schiphol, Schiphol-Rijk, Schiphol-Oost or anywhere in central Amsterdam. Nothing airside does, whether a lounge, a rest pod or a transit hotel beyond passport control. The landside entry explains that line in more detail.

Two clocks

Outcall to the city runs inside a standing window of forty to sixty minutes from confirmation. Outcall to a room near the airport is arranged, with her journey time agreed with you before a start is fixed. The figures are the same in both cases. What differs is the order of the steps and the deposit, which is always half the fee in advance for an airport room.

What you provide

A clean, warm room, a bed or stretch of floor that has been cleared, a shower, and a few minutes at the start for your therapist to explain what the session includes and where her limits are. She brings her own towels and oils and takes them with her afterwards. The booking page shows how the arrangement is made.
